It's so good it made me cry about 1 hour into the game.
Maybe it's just me being a sympathetic c u n t, but this game really touches on heavy existentialist stuff.
There are some moments that the game treats some matters in a funny/cheerful manner, with innocence I'd say. But it is exactly that what makes it so sad at times.
There are some improvements compared to previous games that Yoko Taro has made (currently thinking of Nier, which I played at the same time on the Xbox): farming stuff for upgrades is a bit quicker, there are interesting sidequests that actually expand the world and makes it actually make sense (Nier's side quests are awful and boring as hell) and what you get basically are 4 games in one... or more like one fully fledged game with 4 stories which you need to play in order to make it all come together. It offers 26 endings for you to explore some are funny, some disastrous...
Apart from that there's an actual DLC, but i do not own that.
Sooo, should you get it? Absolutely.
But pay attention to the story or you'll be getting like the quarter part of the experience.
