Marginally better than the first one, it still looks and feels as ugly and clunky as the first one. It improves in other aspects but it still is pretty much the same game without forcing you to go in a mech every other mission.
It's not a bad game but it's designed as a coop/multiplayer game first and it has aged very badly. And in that regard it's hard for me to recommend this game when there are so many other better options now: Helldivers 1 and 2, Deep Rock Galactic, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, WH 40K Darktide...
PS: all the people giving me jester awards have never heard an honest opinion before. For a single player game it is average at best and what is even worse, you can't even play this game coop anymore without going through a tedious guide
